ABOUT OUR APOSTOLATE

The Holy Face of Jesus from the image of Veronica's veil
(The veil is kept in St. Peters Basilica, Rome.)

Immaculate Heart of Mary Apostolate was formed by a small group of traditional Catholics in the 1980s to try and spread the true Catholic faith to as many as possible. We feel this is very needed due to the situation in the Church and the world today.

Our Apostolate has historically focused on spreading the Rosary, the Brown Scapular, and the Holy Face Devotion, and tries to offer everything to others at direct cost, or for free wherever possible. Our Apostolate does not wish to make a profit, but rather would just like to break even if possible, so we can continue to spread the true faith. Donations are very welcome as this will help us to continue to keep our apostolate and this website running!

Our first Internet website was a small page within the overcomeproblems.com website in 2005. A year later in 2006, due to growing popularity, we branched out to a new, dedicated domain name, holyfacedevotion.com. Since then, popularity of our site has grown tremendously, and we now receive requests from all over the world.

Our apostolate is run part-time by only a few volunteers (one handles all Internet requests, two handle postal requests, and we currently have a few volunteers making chaplets for us from time to time). Due to the growing popularity of the Holy Face devotion and this website, it typically takes us 2 months or more to fill orders. In some cases it may take us several weeks to get to all of our e-mails as well, and we may not respond to all of them unless it requires it, or if you specifically request a response. We thank you for being patient with us!

With the above in mind we are always looking for volunteers to help us in making chaplets, or in translating our pamphlet into different languages. At some point in the future we hope to be able to offer the entire website in other languages as well. If you feel you can help, please take a look at our Volunteers page, and if you have questions, please contact us!

Thank you for visiting!
